Fabric Expansion Joint Bellows

  • Fabric Expansion Joints have distinct advantages as they can accommodate relatively large movements and even some misalignment of flanges. They are also lightweight, easy to install and with the addition of internal insulation bolsters have good acoustic properties. Fabric expansion joints can be supplied fully assembled and fitted to support steelwork ready for insertion into ductwork. For retrofit applications, we can supply as factory joined or open for on-site joining where access is limited.

Compressed Non Asbestos Jointing Sheet

Compressed Non-Asbestos Jointing Sheet fills the space between two or more matting surfaces, generally to prevent leakage from or into the joint objects while under compression. Rex Jointing sheets conforms the property requirements of international standards & has many desirable properties to withstand high compressive loads. It comes in many different design based on industrial usage, budget, chemical contact & physical parameters. We produce different types of jointing sheet for High / Medium / Low – Pressure / Temperature & Acidic environments.

This is braided from Pure Aramid Fibers. These fibers are extremely strong and smooth. These fibers are treated with special quality High temperature resistant lubricant.

Pure Graphite Packing Rex RI – 18


This is braided from Pure Graphite fibers. This packing is non-corrosive, self lubricating and gives frictionless sealing providing good life to the packing and Sleeve.

Service Conditions:

Acids, Alkalis, Oils, recommended for High Pressure Steam applications. Not suitable for Nitric acid.

PTFE fiber packing of 100% virgin fibers.

This gland packing is made from combination of PTFE fiber at the faces and Pure Aramid at the corners. This design provides excellent dimensional stability and is recommended to use in Plunger pumps and pumps handling corrosive media. This is a non toxic, non contaminating packing.

Liquid ammonia, carbonate, Urea, oxygen pumps & valves, acids, food industry.

PTFE fiber packing of 100% virgin fibers.

This gland packing is made from combination of GFO® fibre at the faces and Pure Aramid at the corners. This design provides excellent dimensional stability and abrasion resistance. Designed for high pressure, high speeds having excellent resistance to abrasive media.

Hazardous and Abrasive media, dewatering pumps, fine slurry pumps, etc.

Braided from high grade Asbestos yarn suitably graphited and reinforced with STAINLESS STEEL wire. This is recommended for high temperature valve applications and is suitable for service with steam, butane and propane gases, oil vapour, furnace oil, etc.

RI - 225 [680°C] Graphited Asbestos Packing Reinforced Inconel Wire

Braided from high grade Asbestos yarn suitably graphited and reinforced with INCONEL wire. It is recommended for super sealing jobs in valve stems in power plants and oil refineries. It is very suitable for control valves at high pressures and temperatures.

RI - 270 [500°C] Graphited Asbestos Packing Reinforced Brass Wire

BRASS wire reinforced Asbestos packing specially designed to suit high speed rotary and reciprocating shafts even at higher temperature and pressure. Insertion of Brass wire increase strength and antifriction properties. It is recommended for saturated and super heated steam, hot water, air gases, oils, steam expansion glands etc.

REX GRAPHITE GASKET : RI – 918

High quality GRAPHITE sheets and gaskets have excellent resistance to chemical, air, water, oil, fuel, etc. They have a built – in anti stick property hence using the product solves the problem of adhesion to the flanges. Due to 98% graphite content and 1% corrosion inhibitor, this material can be used at high temperatures and for all acids and alkalis. This is not recommended for use with Nitric Acid.

Carbon - Graphite Packing : RI - 36

REX INDUSTRIES established in 1963 has since solved several leakage hazards for various industrial applications. REX believes is TPM (Total Productivity Maintenance).

"REX" Carbon - Graphite Packing (RI - 36) is manufactured by careful selection of graphite fibres and treating them with a CARBON solute which provides the packing the High Temperature Resistance which is its MAJOR CHARACTERISTIC.

"REX" Carbon - Graphite Packing (RI - 36) is guaranteed to provide virtually ZERO LEAKAGE and will play a major role in enhancing TPM activities." REX" Carbon - Graphite Packing ( RI - 36) is designed to be used in ROTATORY as well as STATIC equipments. Due to the very soft nature of the packing it does not affect the sleeve of the pump thus enhancing the life of the sleeve as a result reducing down time cost. This also helps to cut down on inventory cost to a greater extent.

"REX" Carbon - Graphite Packing (RI - 36) is an UNIVERSAL packing designed to be used forthefoilowing applications :

"REX" Carbon - Graphite Packing (RI - 36) when in use is known to provide a shut down to shut down guarantee for static equipments provided the mechanical condition of the equipment is stable.
